AC Milan fullback Gianluca Zambrotta says Italy didn't make the most of their chances in their 1-1 draw with New Zealand.
The Azzurri fought back from a Shane Smeltz opener with Vincenzo Iaquinta's penalty in the 1-1 result.
“We played a good game, conceding in the only real scoring opportunity from our opponents,” said the Milan full-back.
“Just as it happened against Paraguay, we conceded from a dead-ball situation. It's a recurring problem.
“We gave everything we had to win the game, creating so many chances and it just didn't go well.”
