AC Milan fullback Ignazio Abate is proud of being part of their title-winning team.
Last night's 0-0 draw with AS Roma saw Milan claim the Scudetto.
Abate was a revelation, as he had been a winger who was transformed into an effective right-back.
"We are all happy, as it has been an extraordinary year," said the Italian.
"I must thank all my teammates and especially Alessandro Nesta, who gave me advice throughout the campaign.
"I did believe that I could play this role and the Coach put me straight in there during a delicate encounter with Real Madrid. Massimiliano Allegri always pushed me to improve myself, even in a new position.
"I've played in many different Leagues, but this is the football that counts. A big club means always confirming your success, so I look ahead to improving myself next season."
