Manchester United are set to push through with a bid for Santos star Paulo Henrique Ganso. Gazzetta dello Sport says AC Milan fear a rival bid from United for Ganso as the Premier League champs struggle to reach terms with Inter Milan playmaker Wesley Sneijder.
Ganso, who had been tipped to wrap up a £26million move to AC Milan, will now be the subject of strong interest from Old Trafford as the Reds eye an alternative to the expensively-priced Sneijder.
The attacker is ready to move to Europe, though Santos want to keep him until January as they chase the Club World Cup.
