AC Milan chief exec Marco Fassone has displayed perfect diplomacy in the wake of fresh criticism from super agent Mino Raiola.
Raiola maintains he doesn't rate "the Milan project".
But Fassone replied: "I'm sorry to have said some things. Raiola is the agent of (Gigio) Donnarumma, but also of Bonaventura, Abate and other young people. However, I admit that Mino is consistent and this distrust has been expressed since April, because he sees the future of the club as obscure and nebulous.
"I explained to him our project that will develop in 4-5 years. From his last phrases I deduce that despite investments, he still feels perplexed, but I am glad that Gigio has chosen to stay: it means that he believes in us."
