AC Milan encouraged by Ibrahimovic's silent treatment

AC Milan GM Adriano Galliani is waiting for news from Zlatan Ibrahimovic's camp about a return to the San Siro.

Corriere della Sera says the PSG striker has rejected a lucrative offer from Galatasaray this week.

Galliani and Milan president Silvio Berlusconi have made no secret of their hope of tempting Ibrahimovic back to the club this summer.

Ibrahimovic's future remains clouded, despite PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi insisting he would not leave.

Milan chiefs are convinced they can still persuade Ibra to return to Italy and have been encouraged that the striker has not made any public commitment since Al-Khelaifi's claims.

The Rossoneri will now focus on signing Ibra after completing their deal for Roma defender Alessio Romagnoli yesterday.
