AC Milan directors Marco Fassone and Massimiliano Mirabelli enjoyed a positive meeting with coach Vincenzo Montella yesterday.
It was the first summit between the three after Younghong Lai's takeover of Milan last week.
The meeting lasted three hours and all three men left in a positive frame of mind.
Milan's intention is to confirm Montella for next season so they can kickoff in earnest their summer market plans.
Transfer policy was touched upon yesterday, with MilanNews reporting the return of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Borussia Dortmund being discussed enthusiastically.
