AC Milan are chasing Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli.

The Daily Star says , AC Milan want City ­bad boy Balotelli in a cut-price deal of around £12m.

Balotelli's future in Manchester is bleak following a string of problems on and off the pitch.

Rossoneri boss Massimiliano Allegri is a big fan of Balotelli's and reckons a return to Milan would help him fulfil his potential. But the Serie A giants want him on the cheap and have told City to forget about recouping more than half of the £24m they shelled out to sign him from Inter Milan in 2010.
