AC Milan defender Cristian Zapata will welcome the arrival of fellow Colombian Jherson Vergara next season.

Zapata is a big fan of the 19 year-old defender.

"Vergara is a very young boy, but one that wants to improve," Zapata told elespectador.com. "You can see that he really wants to play for Milan.

"We have met and talked, and he wants to play right away.

"I am convinced that Vergara has a bright future and will be a great buy for Milan."
