AC Milan defender Didac Vila has failed a medical at Valencia.

A loan deal with option to buy had been agreed, but Didac Vila has been sent back to San Siro after failing his medical.

The official Milan website claims it is due to "a slight inflammation in the pelvic area. Didac Vila will return to Milan and join the first team."
