AC Milan defender Thiago Silva is ready for his clash with Inter star Samuel Eto'o in this weekend's derby.

"I have never faced Eto'o, but I have studied how to stop him through various tapes," said the defender ahead of his debut derby.

"I am passionate about football and watch many games on television, so I tracked him many times when he was playing for Barcelona. I know how he moves, but that doesn't mean I'll always be able to anticipate him, though…"

Last season Ronaldinho scored the only goal in this clash and his teammate believes the Brazilian can make the difference again.

"He is in good shape and I'm sure he will have a great game. I think he is already proving that Kaka won't be missed. Obviously replacing Kaka is no easy task, but Ronaldinho is on the right track and I'm convinced he'll continue at this level.

"He made a promise to his teammates that he would carry the squad in hard times and I believe him."
