AC Milan defender Thiago Silva insists they should have killed off Manchester United in the first-half of last night's 3-2 defeat.
Thiago Silva was happy to make the game after struggling with injury.
He said: "I think the team did well in the first half, we could have scored even more goals, but football is unbelievable. We hope to change that with the return-leg at Old Trafford.
"We must believe because it is not over, a team that has five chances and scores just three goals as did Manchester United tonight, it is not hard to beat.
"Milan played better than the Red Devils and we have to go to Manchester to catch up, trying to stay calm."
