AC Milan defender Thiago Silva insists he's not touting himself to Barcelona.

In a statement released through Milan's official website, the defender has reasserted his loyalty to the Rossoneri.

"I don't have any intention of leaving Milan. I like the idea of becoming a symbol of this club, following the path of greats such as Franco Baresi and Paolo Maldini.

"[Adriano] Galliani needn't worry - Barcelona is just a rival for me."
