AC Milan defender Mattia de Sciglio isn't getting ahead of himself after an impressive campaign.

He admits he still has a lot to improve in his game.

"This is my first real season as part of the first team squad," said De Sciglio. "I still need to gain a lot of experience, which I'll get by playing games.

"What I have done so far has been appreciated, but I must keep working hard. I think I've given it my best this term though and shown that I want to prove myself.

"I've had a good campaign," De Sciglio, used 24 times in Serie A during the campaign, added. "But I know that the road is long and I must improve in certain areas."
