AC Milan defender Mattia de Sciglio admits he could've joined Inter Milan as a junior.
The talented right-back is still only 20 and grew up in the Rossoneri youth academy.
"I started out as a child in my local team and have such fond memories of that time," he told a group of children in Lainate.
"In fact, I'll reveal something to you. I had a trial run with Inter when I was 10, but they decided against signing me because my physique was too small. Now, I am here.
"It is great to be starting a new era at Milan based on youth. We proved that we were capable of showing our worth and belong in this squad."
