AC Milan could wait until end of January to complete deal for Man City's Tevez

AC Milan admit they are in no hurry to complete the signing of Manchester City bad boy Carlos Tevez.

The Italian giants have made an agreement to bring the Argentine to the San Siro in the absence of Antonio Cassano but vice-president Adriano Galliani has made it clear that they do not have to push through a deal until every last detail is worked out.

"Tevez is our first choice," he told www.milannews.it. "We know we have the player's agreement, but we hope he will not agree with other clubs.

"There is a deadline of 18:59 on January 31 to complete his transfer.

"Everyone knows what Milan's position is and he will arrive only due to Cassano's (heart) problem."
