AC Milan have made contact with Barcelona over a price for Brazilian midfielder Thiago Motta.
Motta is expected to be offloaded this summer as Barca wrap up a deal for Monaco star Yaya Toure and Milan are turning to the Brazilian after being thwarted in efforts for Emerson [Real Madrid] and Momo Sissoko [Liverpool].
