AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli has undergone successful hip surgery.

The on-loan Liverpool striker was due for surgery due to a hip flexor problem, and it seems everything went fine with the operation and the player will be back in a month.

“AC Milan communicate that Mario Balotelli underwent surgery in Munich," reads a statement on the club's official site.

“The operation was technically successful and the recovery times are of about four weeks, assuming there are no complications."
