AC Milan coach Vincenzo Montella says he's convinced of the ability of Mario Pasalic.

Pasalic is on-loan at Milan from Chelsea, but has struggled for minutes.

However, Montella explained: "Pasalic came after six months of inactivity, one can see the potential and if I could I'd buy him.

"He deserves a gift, to play. My intention is to do so.

"I think he is a very powerful midfielder, he is gaining confidence."
