AC Milan coach Sinisa Mihajlovic says there's no excuses if they lose to Coppa Italia opponents Alessandria.

The Rossoneri take on third-tier side Alessandria in a two-legged semi-final, the first match of which is played tonight.

“I'm convinced my lads will take it seriously," Mihajlovic assured in his pre-match Press conference.

“Tomorrow, Alessandria are like a Serie A team for us. It would be the first trophy for most, so that one day when you finish playing you can say that you won something.

“There have been many great players who never won anything, it would be unforgivable to waste the opportunity to reach the final."
