AC Milan coach Sinisa Mihajlovic has dubbed Napoli the best team in Serie A.

The Rossoneri were humiliated 4-0 on their own turf, a second consecutive defeat after the 1-0 at Genoa.

Mihajlovic declared: “It was a bad defeat, but a fully deserved one. Compliments to Napoli and Maurizio Sarri. After going 2-0 down, we no longer had the strength to react.

“The team that we faced tonight plays the best football in Serie A. They are strong and we knew that. The difference was made by their strikers and our defensive movements.

“We are somewhere in between, so we don't defend or attack well. During the week we tried lots of different things, but in a match situation it can go differently.

“This is a difficult situation and we have to continue working. Evidently 100 per cent is not enough, we have to give more. We mustn't lose hope, as whittling down the errors – which for the most part are individual – can change a great deal."
