AC Milan coach Leonardo was delighted with their 3-2 win over Udinese last night. Klaas-Jan Huntelaar hit a brace for the Rossoneri, who face Champions League opponents Manchester United on Tuesday.
"There are many positives, first of all the win. At times they come easily, others you need to earn them and this was the latter situation," said Leonardo.
"It was very important to see our hunger to win even when there were setbacks, like conceding just before half-time.
"Alessandro Nesta put in a great performance and Alexandre Pato was back from a long injury lay-off, but has lost none of his skill and pace. There's a lot to be happy about."
Thiago Silva and Amantino Mancini limped off in the first half, so the defender is a risk for Tuesday's Champions League match.
"We need to evaluate it, but it doesn't seem particularly serious. It's always difficult with muscles to tell right away, so we must wait a bit. It's a shame in the first half we were forced into two changes due to injuries, that didn't help our flow."
