AC Milan coach Leonardo knows he must axe Ronaldinho
AC Milan coach Leonardo is ready to AXE Ronaldinho for their Champions League clash with Olympique Marseille.
After their 0-0 draw at Livorno - and Ronaldinho's disappointing performance - Leonardo knows, with morale on a knife-edge, they cannot afford another poor result against Marseille.
Tuttosport says Leonardo will drop Ronaldinho for the game and field Clarence Seedorf behind the strike-pairing of Alexandre Pato and Pippo Inzaghi.
It's a massive call by Leonardo, who had been partly appointed coach this season due to his close relationship with Ronaldinho. While his job is not on the lime, Leonardo knows a defeat would deal a devastating psychological blow to his squad.
"If Dinho is training well - and really wants to - he can make a difference for this team," said Leonardo last night.

Leo, if there's one person that needs the boot, its you ... You together with Huntelaar, Abate are all dudds. The only player worth mentioning is Thiago Silva. Pato looks lost up front without Kaka, and now you're wanting Beckham back in January, oh please, do me a favour. You keep saying Ronni needs to prove himself ... to who? You? We the fans know what Ronni is capable of, its you that needs to prove yourself, and right now you're failing dismally. Please do us all a favour and leave gracefully, because it pains us to see our beloved team play this badly, without direction, without passion, without anything. We can't even beat Livorno, that's just come up from the 2nd Division and we're the "mighty" Milan, my foot!! Just go and do us all a favour.
