AC Milan coach Gattuso raps reporter: Don't ask Bonaventura that...!

AC Milan coach Rino Gattuso feels Serie A clubs are closing the gap on their Premier League rivals.

Milan meet Arsenal in the Europa League tomorrow night.

"The Italian teams are asserting themselves in Europe," Gattuso said.

“Today the comparison between the business in English football and in Italian football is 10 to 0. What we managed to do 10 years ago, they're now doing.

“There are more big names in England than in Italy, but by doing it this way we can allow our young players to grow and that's something I like."

Giacomo Bonaventura joined his Coach in the Press conference, and was asked if he'd like to move to the Premier League one day.

“Leave him alone!" Gattuso interrupted with a smile.

“Jack, don't answer. He's fine at Milan, he's scoring goals. Why should he go to the Premier League and get kicked. Leave him here.

“You have created a problem for me now, [Mino] Raiola will already be setting the wheels in motion. You're good, but mind your own business!"
