AC Milan coach Cristian Brocchi was proud of his players in their Coppa Italia final defeat to Juventus.

Alvaro Morata came off the bench to decide the 1-0 result in extra time, but overall the Rossoneri had the better of the game and more chances.

“Nobody could say Milan did not put in a strong performance this evening," Brocchi told Rai Sport.

“I saw the right attitude, I saw something of mine in the team and their performance, but am also so disappointed by the result.

“It was decided by a single incident. We had plenty of chances and could've done better in our finishing, but that's the way it went.

“It was a counter-attack, they went really rapidly and we were a little uncovered, but I don't think it was anyone's fault. We could've intercepted the counter earlier."
