AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri has taken straight aim at president Silvio Berlusconi. Berlusconi is understood to be unhappy with Allegri over recent results, including the elimination from the Champions League by Barcelona.
Asked if the president had been in touch over Easter, Allegri told Corriere dello Sport: "A call? No."
Then the heavy jab.
"The only one that works wonders is (vice-president Adriano) Galliani, not like other clubs that have spent up to €200 million."
Allegri's rap is being interpreted as a clear message to Berlusconi to open his wallet if he wants to win the Champions League.
