AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri has ruled himself out of the running for the AS Roma job.

The Giallorossi are looking for a new tactician after sacking Zdenek Zeman on Saturday after an inconsistent campaign.

"The interest of a great club like Roma is pleasing and it shows an appreciation for my work," he told Il Messaggero.

"I'm honoured, but I'm also happy at Milan."
