AC Milan coach Max Allegri has laughed off his quit threat last week.
Allegri shocked many by threatening to resign after the 3-0 win over PSV Eindhoven, but insists it was a joke.
"It was just a joke. In my three years here I have always had an excellent rapport with the President and I speak to Galliani daily. There were some discussions with the President at times, but that's normal. I am happy to be the Milan Coach and wanted to stay here to conclude the work I started last year."<> There are now reports Allegri could even be offered a contract renewal, as his deal expires on June 30 2014.
"Let us be clear, I never asked for a renewal and will not talk about it until after May 19."
