AC Milan boss Max Allegri was pleased with Kevin-Prince Boateng's performance in their victory over Brescia.
Boateng scored on his recall to the starting line-up.
Allegri said: "I fielded Boateng because I needed a player who could push into the box from midfield and, seeing as Brescia have quite a deep defence, I thought he could do a good job.
"It has happened that someone is on the bench and others even in the stands, but the important thing is the team and making sure those who do play give their all."
