AC Milan have signed Villarreal defender Cristian Zapata.
Former Udinese stopper Zapata completed his move last night.
"Villarreal and Milan have reached an agreement to transfer footballer Cristian Zapata for this season," read a brief statement on Villarreal's website.
"Thus, the Colombian defender, 25, who arrived last season at the club from Udinese, will return to play in Italian football with the Rossoneri."
