AC Milan clear decks to make sensational bid for Chelsea ace Drogba

AC Milan are ready to make a bid for Chelsea striker Didier Drogba. Milan-based Mediaset, which is owned by the Rossoneri's patron Silvio Berlusconi, says they're planning to make an offer for the Chelsea star.

Milan are planning to send Alberto Paloschi on-loan to Chievo Verona and sell unsettled Antonio Cassano, which suggests they're making room for Drogba's arrival.

The Ivorian has less than a year to run on his Chelsea deal and loves Milan.

And the Rossoneri have a history of late summer big name signings with Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Ronaldinho both arriving in recent years.
