AC Milan have sounded out Tottenham about a price for Erik Lamela.

Milan's new power team Marco Fassone and Massimiliano Mirabelli were in London over the weekend and attended Chelsea's triumph over Leicester City.

CalcioMercatoWeb reports they took advantage of the trip to meet with Spurs officials about Lamela.

Milan are in the final stage of a takeover by Sino-Europe, which are promising major transfer funds to be spent in January.

Among the players on a long shopping list is former Roma star Lamela and Spurs are now fully aware of Milan's interest after the weekend talks.
