AC Milan chief Galliani: Why I love Beckham

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has paid tribute to David Beckham's commitment to the club.

Galliani has offered to bring the LA Galaxy midfielder back to Milan next season as he recovers from Achilles surgery.

He said: “My love for Beckham started when I saw him track an opponent back for 50 metres during the last game of last year against Fiorentina.

“We won 2-0 and the referee was terrible. Only extraordinary players do such things.”
