AC Milan chief Galliani wants Champions League glory to return

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani admits they plan to become more competitive in Europe from next season.

The Rossoneri have yet to complete this term's target of netting the Serie A title - they need one more point - but Galliani has big plans for the future.

"We want to get back to winning ways in Europe," he stated on Tuesday. "After winning the championship we will then try to do the same in the Champions League.

"It went badly for us against Tottenham this season. Let's hope we have fewer injury problems next term."
