AC Milan chief Galliani: Top players not attracted to Serie A

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani admits Serie A has lost it's top league status.

Galliani has overseen the sales of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva to PSG.

"I agree with Mino Raiola, the agent of Ibrahimovic, who says that top players are no longer coming to Italy," said Galliani.

With Ibra gone, Galliani is now looking for a new forward and there were rumours of a possible bid for Fiorentina's Stevan Jovetic.

"I had lunch with Fiorentina sporting director Daniele Prade," Galliani noted. "We are old friends, but we didn't speak about Jovetic."
