AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has welcomed the signing on-loan of LA Galaxy star David Beckham. Beckham will be joining the club for a three month period, from the 7th of January 2009.

Immediately following the announcement, Milan's Vice President Adriano Galliani stated that, "Beckham has finally become reality, and is no longer a dream.

"Nobody has talked about an outright transfer here, as the idea is simply not feasible.

"Beckham has a contract with the Galaxy, and they have no intentions of releasing him, and even so, he has many sponsorship deals that he must attend to back in America," he concluded.
