AC Milan chief Galliani: They said we were tired and old. They were wrong

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani says the club is again buzzing after their victory over Chievo Verona.

The victory takes the Rossoneri up to sixth place in Serie A, level on points with Palermo and Fiorentina.

"Once again, for the third time in a row, we have finished the first half behind by a goal and then in the second we have overturned the result," Galliani said.

"Once again, we have played a wonderful second half. In the interval I though: 'there isn't two without three,' and it happened this time, too.

"They said that we score little, and instead in the last three games we have scored eight goals, I say eight because Thiago Silva's goal against Real Madrid should have been allowed.

"They said that we are tired and old. Well, we're showing that it not like this at all. This group has increased its own self-esteem. It is united and that showed in the team's embrace of Dida at the end of the game. He made us win the game.

"As for Nesta, he is fantastic. After the injury and the risk to his career, he has changed. He has improved a lot as a man.

"Today we can say that he is even better than the already brilliant Nesta before the injury."
