AC Milan chief Galliani tells unsettled Cassano to buck up

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has told Antonio Cassano to buck up his ideas and fight for his place.

Competition for an attacking jersey is fierce at San Siro with Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Alexandre Pato, Robinho, Antonio Cassano, Pippo Inzaghi and Alberto Paloschi at the club.

"Years ago we had practically agreed a deal for Jurgen Klinsmann," Galliani said.

"It was almost done, but it never happened because his agent asked that the player be guaranteed a first team shirt.

"Nobody is assured of a place in our side, but Antonio can certainly be of use to us," the official underlined.
