AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has dismissed the significance of their derby defeat to Inter Milan.
The Rossoneri lost 1-0 to the Nerazzurri last night to allow their city rivals back into the title race, but Galliani is remaining optimistic.
"The League table is what talks in football," he said. "At the minute, with 20 games to go, we have five more points than Inter.
"There are five teams from Inter's 32 points to Juventus' 38. The three points against Inter are as important as those against Novara and Cagliari.
"We need to end the first half of the season with 40 points as we did last season - that possibility remains."
