AC Milan chief Galliani relieved with Allegri deal

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani admitted relief in tying coach Massimiliano Allegri to a new deal.

In the last few days the Rossoneri have extended Coach Allegri's contract to June 2014, as it was set to expire this summer.

"I remember saying a long time ago that Allegri was the right fit for Milan. He deserved his contract renewal for all the great work he did, winning the Scudetto in his first season. Of course there were negotiations about money, because everyone is in a financial crisis, then we reached an agreement."
