Gazzetta dello Sport says Galliani will hold talks with the agent of Eto'o in the coming days ahead of travelling to Barcelona after the end of the Spanish Liga season to negotiate a fee for the Cameroon ace.

Galliani has already met with Jose Maria Mesalles, Eto'o's prime agent, in Athens before the Champions League final to register their interest and is now stepping up plans to land the forward with a six-year contract offer.

Milan will bid an initial £25 million to Barca next week and will also seek to open talks over deals for Eto'o's teammates Thiago Motta and Edmilson.
