AC Milan chief Galliani: Man City's Tevez remains first choice

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani insists they can still beat PSG for Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez. Milan have already struck personal terms with Tevez's camp.

"I know that there was a meeting between the player's agent and Manchester City this morning, but I don't know the outcome," Vice-President Galliani told Sky Sport Italia.

"We'll wait for Tevez until the last hour of the transfer window unless he signs for another club before then.

"Tevez is our first choice and you know what Milan's position is, that of the player and Manchester City. We know that the player wants to come - we just hope he doesn't agree terms with anyone else.

"We have up until 18:59 on January 31 to close the deal."
