AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has rubbished press claims that president Silvio Berlusconi has lost confidence in coach Carlo Ancelotti.
"We got the tactics wrong many times," Berlusconi was quoted as saying. "We have lots of players who are excellent on the ball and great passers and we should have relied on them when we did the opposite."
The matter was raised during last night's Press conference for a charity match in Albania and Galliani stepped in.
"I want to answer this question! I have not been able to speak to the President today, but I have done over the last few days and his ideas do not match up with what was written today.
"These alleged quotes were only published in one newspaper and even then it was in the political pages, so Milan have nothing more to say."
