AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani insists coach Massimiliano Allegri is safe.

There were reports of a potential axe after last night's 1-0 home defeat to Atalanta, as it's the first time in 82 years that the Rossoneri have lost their opening two San Siro games.

"Allegri is absolutely not up for debate," said Galliani.

"He has to relax. Now we need to focus on winning and getting our injured players back to full fitness.

"President Silvio Berlusconi asked me to stay close to the team and reassure them at this time."
