AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has hailed the form of Keisuke Honda. The Japan international tops the Serie A scoring charts.
"Honda? He's always been a major player. He arrived last season in January without having done preseason and landing in a new country. It is clear that he needed a few months to acclimatise.
"Platini also needed time. Honda is having a great championship, scoring with continuity.
"Which was the turning point? His skills, but also the system that brings him to play on the right. (Coach) Pippo Inzaghi was right to deploy him in a certain way for the team."
