AC Milan chief Galliani handing Leonardo new deal

AC Milan are ready to open new contract talks with coach Leonardo. La Repubblica says Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani is set to table Leonardo a long-term deal after the way he has turned the club around.

Milan will hand the Brazilian a contract worth just over €1 million-a-year.

Meanwhile, Ronaldinho will also be offered new terms and after his hat-trick against Siena, Diego Maradona declared: "He is among the greatest of all time."
