AC Milan chief Galliani flying to France to close deal for Montpellier's Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa

AC Milan are stepping up negotiations with Montpellier for defender Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa tomorrow.

Yanga-Mbiwa is Milan's top defensive target, but they have already had one offer turned down by his French club.

Sky Italia says Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani is flying to France on Wednesday for talks with Montpellier over a fee for Yanga-Mbiwa.

Galliani is demanding Montpellier get serious about Yanga-Mbiwa's asking price, given that his contract expires in 2013.
