AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani is expecting big things from Bryan Cristante.

The midfielder recently signed a new, long-term contract.

"We gave him a five-year contract with us on the day of his 18th birthday," Galliani said.

"He appears to be, in my opinion, a great playmaker who can play in front of the defence. He's an alternative to Riccardo Montolivo."
