AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani admits Edin Dzeko is likely to have to demand a move away from Wolfsburg for any deal to happen.

"He is a great player, but Wolfsburg insist that they want to keep him," Galliani explained. "From now on, the desire of the player will count because the rules are clear and worth everything.

"However, if the footballer wants to leave…"

Galliani then turned his attention to Aly Cissokho, the Porto full-back, who failed a medical at Milan.

"Porto didn't accept a reduction in price or a loan deal so the deal for Cissokho is off," Galliani revealed. "Our transfer strategy will concentrate on the search for a striker."
