AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani insists there's no rift with coach Massimiliano Allegri.
There was meant to be a dinner providing 'peace talks' on Saturday evening, but the meeting never happened.
"I called Max to tell him the dinner was off. It's ridiculous, there is too much media focus around what was a perfectly normal summertime dinner," Galliani told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"Now the papers are trying to make this into the dinner of peace, or maybe of war, but the truth is that there is absolutely no war here to talk about.
"Anyway, who knows if we'll meet up for breakfast or even lunch..."
