Pirlo is seeking a pay-hike on his current deal, which still has three years to run. Leggo says both Pirlo and his agent, Tullio Tinti, met with Galliani yesterday to discuss the midfielder's situation.

Arriving in the afternoon for talks with Galliani, meanwhile, was Davide Lippi, who represents midfielder Cristian Brocchi.

Brocchi has expressed interest in moving away, though Lippi left assured that the player has a place in coach Carlo Ancelotti's plans for the new season.
